The vehicle has multiple carriage bodies (W) connected with each other by couplings (K), and a control device (S) provided for adjusting length of the couplings based on actual speed of the vehicle. The control device is designed such that the length of the couplings is decreased with increasing speed of the vehicle. The couplings are designed as telescopable couplings, where the length of the couplings is adjusted pneumatically. The control device is connected with a detection device that detects the actual speed of the vehicle.
