PURPOSE: A trunk lid system for vehicles is provided to facilitate the closing of a trunk lid and improve pop up performance at low temperature by the increment of a pop up force. CONSTITUTION: A trunk lid system for vehicles comprises a cylinder(110), a piston rod(111), a piston, a gas lifter, a hinge arm mounting portion(117), and a pup-up assisting unit(120). The piston rod reciprocates along the electrical field of the cylinder. The piston is coupled with the front end of the piston rod positioned inside the cylinder. The gas lifter is hinge-coupled with the hinge arm for opening and closing the trunk lid. The hinge arm mounting portion is hinge-coupled with the hinge arm. The pup-up assisting unit is mounted between the gas lifter and the cylinder and supports the pop up of the trunk lid.
