<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for a solar cell back surface protection film for a thin film silicon solar cell, which exhibits superior durability even under high-temperature and high-humidity conditions and superior long-term thermal stability. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester film for the solar cell back surface protection film contains, as the main constituent, a polyester obtained by polymerization using a polycondensation catalyst that contains aluminum and/or its compound, and a phosphorus compound having an aromatic group in the molecule, exhibits a whiteness degree of ≥50, contains 3 to 50 mass% of microparticles having a mean particle diameter of 0.1 to 3 μm and has a film acid value of 1 to 30 eq/ton. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
