<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, efficient, and reciprocating vibrating actuator. <P>SOLUTION: The vibrating actuator is provided including: a pair of longitudinal drives, which have each a tip that abuts on a subject of shift and an electromechanical converting element that expands and contracts in the longitudinal direction where it comes close to or goes away from the subject of shift; a support which elastically supports the pair of longitudinal drives arranged in the lateral direction that crosses the longitudinal direction; and a lateral drive which is caught between the pair of longitudinal drives and has an electromechanical converting element that expands and contracts in the lateral direction. The lateral drive may be caught between the pair of longitudinal drives, on the opposite side from the tip side, to the supporting positions of the pair of longitudinal drives supported by the support. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
