PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle and a nozzle assembly for a surgical instrument forming a liquid jet, the surgical instrument using the nozzle and/or nozzle assembly, and a method for manufacturing the nozzle assembly in forming the surgical instrument.

SOLUTION: The hand-held surgical instrument 100 having a distal end 103 includes a nozzle alignment component 104. Tissue treated with a surgical hand-held piece is indicated by a sign 102. A high pressure lumen 106 and a discharge lumen 108 enter a hand-held body 110 having two fitting parts 112, 114.
