PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watering apparatus controlling the amount of watering suitable for growth of grapes in the watering apparatus controlling the amount of watering considering the amount of insolation. SOLUTION: The watering apparatus is provided with: a watering part 2 for watering a tree 5 of the grapes; a control part 3; and a detecting means 4 for the amount of insolation designed to detect the amount of insolation on the tree 5 of the grapes. The control part 3 is provided with a water content detecting means 6 for detecting the water content in the trunk of the tree 5 of the grapes in the watering apparatus controlling the amount of watering for the tree 5 of the grapes based on the detected amount of insolation.
