PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus achieving both the sharing of an amplifier by a plurality of electronic substrates with a component for outputting a sound signal mounted thereon and the reduction of power consumption by individual control of the energizing of the respective electronic substrates. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes a first electronic substrate and an energizing switching portion. The first electronic substrate is an electronic substrate on which a first component group including a component operated by a person, a component for outputting a first sound signal corresponding to the operation and an amplifier for amplifying the first sound signal and a second sound signal other than the first sound signal are mounted. The energizing switching portion switches the energizing state of the image processing apparatus between a first energizing state in which the power is fed to the entire first component group and a second energizing state in which the power is fed to the amplifier and the power is not fed to the other components.
