PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the intrusion of a suspicious person into a house or the like, at low costs. SOLUTION: This recoding medium for crime prevention is configured to record a sound obtained by synthesizing continuous or intermittent ultrasonic waves with a life sound as an audible sound, wherein the life sound is recorded in consideration of the age or use time zone of the user of the recording medium for crime prevention. The recording medium may be any of an optical disk, a magnetic disk, a magneto-optical disk or magnetic tape. Thus, it is performed to output a sound obtained by synthesizing continuous or intermittent ultrasonic waves with a life sound as an audible sound in a crime prevention object space which is invisible from the outside, and it is also performed for a resident to pretend to live in a house as opposed to a suspicious person.
