PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor for securely preventing leakage of filling resin. SOLUTION: The capacitor includes a case 10 having openings 11 and 12 at both opposing sides, a capacitor element 40 stored in the case 10, a terminal plate 20 into which a terminal 30 connected to the capacitor element 40 is inserted and which is engaged with one opening 12 of the case 10, and grooves 15 and 90 formed at an engaging part 50 between the terminal plate 20 and the case 10. First resin 60 whose capacity is less than that of the grooves 15 and 90 is injected to the engaging part 50 and is hardened. Then, the case 10 is filled with second resin 80.
