PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling preventive structure of an elevator capable of surely preventing falling of a worker with a simpler constitution. SOLUTION: This falling preventive structure includes a lifting car 20 moving in a hoistway 11 arranged in a building 10 of a plurality of stories, a stopper 15 having a height corresponding to a floor of the respective doorways 12A and 12B of the second story or above and fixedly arranged on the building 10 side forming the hoistway 11, and a floating floor 30 arranged on the respective upper side stories than a story for stopping the lifting car 20 by checking lowering by its stopper 15 so as to become a falling preventive floor in the hoistway 11 of its upper side story and pushed upward by abutting on a ceiling part 22 of the lifting car when the lifting car 20 rises.
