PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a contact sound generated between a regulating part for regulating its rotational movement and itself, even if a rotary lever rotates by the passing of a medium. SOLUTION: This image forming device 1 is equipped with: a rotary lever 42 journaled rotatably and rotating by being pressed by the passing medium T; a sensor part 43 detecting the rotational movement of the rotary lever 42 and the regulating part 48 for regulating a rotary range of the rotary lever 42; and is characterized in that the regulating part 48 includes a medium passing detecting device 40 having a projection part projecting toward the rotary lever 42 abutting on a part of the regulating part.
