PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a roll sheet from folding on the end face while suppressing the height of a recording apparatus body. SOLUTION: The recording apparatus 100 includes: an opening/closing door 11 with a lower end part 11b hinged 14 on the front face part of the body 33 having a storage part 18 for the roll sheet 40, and with an upper end part 11a which is openable; a platen 17 supported on the upper end part 11a of the opening/closing door 11; and a recording head 19 opposing the platen 17 when the opening/closing door 11 is closed and supported on the upper end part of the body 33; wherein a first paper guiding part 42 which comes in contact with the roll sheet 40 conveyed by the platen 17 so as to bend the roll sheet 40 is provided in the upper part of the body 33, and a second paper guiding part 50 which comes in contact with the roll sheet 40 before the roll sheet 40 is decreased and the roll sheet 40 does not come in contact with the first paper guiding part 42 during the roll sheet is conveyed, and brings the roll sheet 40 in contact with the first paper guiding part 42 is provided on the opening/closing door 11.
