PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve identification performance between two specified categories which are similar to each other, while keeping the overall identification performance in an object identification device. SOLUTION: The object identification device for identifying an object included in an input image includes a means (301) for calculating the correlation value of the featured values of a standard part feature area extracted from the input image and a processing object, respectively and the correlation value of the featured values of an adaptive part feature area extracted from the input image and the processing object, respectively; means (302, 303) for calculating similarities on the basis of the calculated correlation values; and a means (304) for integrating the plurality of calculated similarities and outputting it as the integrated similarity of the input image and the registered image of the processing object.
