PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle tracking system, method and program, allowing improvement of accuracy of vehicle tracking processing by reducing false detection when tracking a vehicle by use of a sensor detecting the vehicle on a road. SOLUTION: When one of respective unit areas on the road detected by the sensor 11 is in a specific physical state indicating possibility of presence of the vehicle, a movement track calculation means 12 calculates a movement track as a temporal change. A vehicle track analysis means 14 analyzes a travel route of the vehicle by use of the movement track and a ratio of the false detection of the vehicle of each unit area registered in a false detection ratio registration means 13.
