PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable in which a breakup job is performed easier than conventional cases when a longitudinally attached intermediate layer is adopted. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable includes: slots 3 having an optical fiber-housing groove 2 on the outer circumferential face thereof; optical fibers 1 housed in the optical fiber-housing groove 2; the intermediate layer 4 which are longitudinally attached on the slots 3 to cover the slots 3; a press-winding 5 which is spirally wound around the intermediate layer 4 with a gap; and a sheath 6 which covers the slots 3 over the press-winding 5, wherein the press-winding 5 and the sheath 6 are bonded to each other.
