The system has piggable sub-sections for implementing different pigging processes. The sub-sections are reduced or extended for a certain sub-step in the pigging processes by utilization of tubular path switching elements such that a transmission section (5) is utilized by different pigging sections in a temporal successive manner. A three-way-point (9), piggable hose, joint arm, shut-off device and tubular line distributor are utilized as the tubular path-switching elements. A switching process in the system is initiated by a control program.
