PURPOSE: A water ionizer is provided to inform the draining state of alkaline ionized water using a voice signal and control the voice signal using a pH selection button. CONSTITUTION: A water ionizer(1) includes a main body(100), a manipulating part(400), a water draining nozzle(800), a voice signal outputting part, and a controlling part. An electrolytic cell is installed in the main body and electrolyzes water. The manipulating part selects alkaline ionized water and acidic ionized water generated from the electrolytic cell. The water draining nozzle is in connection with the main body and drains purified water and the alkaline ionized water. The voice signal outputting part outputs a voice signal including the pH level of water, error situations, and operational states. The controlling part controls a water draining operation and the operation of the voice signal outputting part according to the signal of the manipulating part.
