PURPOSE: A pulley assembly for driving a vehicle cooling fan is provided to drive a cooling fan using the power of an engine and to reduce vibration through a damping unit. CONSTITUTION: A pulley assembly for driving a vehicle cooling fan comprises a pulley body(110) and a damping unit(120). The pulley body comprises an inner shell(111) inserted into a crank shaft and an outer shell(113) fitted with a driving belt on the exterior thereof. The damping unit is formed in a disk shape connecting the inner and outer shells and absorbs the vibration delivered from the crank shaft between the inner and outer shells. The damping unit comprises a mounting plate(121) in which one or more mounting holes are arranged at an angular interval of 60°, elastic members(125) which are installed in the mounting holes to absorb vibration from the crank shaft, and cover plates(127) which are mounted on both sides of the mounting plate to fix the elastic members. |
