PURPOSE: A filter paper for an air cleaner is provided to secure a larger filtering area because of a folding structure in which the heights of folds are alternately changed. CONSTITUTION: A filter paper(110) for an air cleaner is folded in a zigzag shape wherein the heights of the ridges are the same while the depths of the troughs are alternately changed. The ratio between the long and short depths of the troughs is 4:3. The filter paper is provided in an air filter(100) to secure an extra space, thereby reducing the resistance of air flow inside the air filter.
