PURPOSE: A construction method of an EMP(Electromagnetic Pulse) protection room is provided to completely block the inflow of EMP or HEMP(High Electromagnetic Pulse) by shielding linear gaps or joints between protection panels. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of an EMP protection room is as follows. The area needing protection is set and a protection sector is established(S100). A plurality of anchors are installed at regular intervals on the ceiling of the protection sector, and mortar, a damp-proof sheet, and an insulating plate are laminated on the floor of the protection sector(S110). An EMP protection body is installed inside the protection sector and concrete is placed on the floor of the EMP protection body, and a magnetic shield sheet is attached to the entire inner surfaces of the body(S120). A fixing member is installed on the top of the body to connect and fix the body to the anchors of the ceiling of the protection sector(S130). A door, an air tube, and a wave filter etc. are installed in the body to construct a basic EMP protection room(S140). A power line, signal lines, and cables are connected to the basic EMP protection room, the interior of the body is constructed, and EMP protection performance is inspected to complete an EMP protection room(S150).
