The unit has a terminal box (12) comprising a tubular housing part. A connecting element e.g. connecting cable, comprises an electrical contact, which are molded in plastic and extends in to interior of the housing part that is made of plastic. A conductive plate is arranged with electrical and/or electronic components in interior of the housing part. The conductive plate extends parallel to axial front side of the housing part and a stator housing (6). The conductive plate provided with connecting contacts in which the electrical contact of the connecting elements is engaged.
