<p>The method for calcining solids or sludges in a multiple-level furnace (1) with a cooling region (1c) feeding over several unheated stoves and a firing region (1b) having an upper- (3) and lower heated stove (4), comprises leading a part of the material (16) to be calcined by the avoidance of the upper stove of the firing region to the lower stove and/or to the cooling region, calcining the led material part by the heat of the material coming out from the firing region and leading the material part to a preheating region before leading to the firing region. The method for calcining solids or sludges in a multiple-level furnace (1) with a cooling region (1c) feeding over unheated stoves and a firing region (1b) having an upper- (3) and lower heated stove (4), comprises leading a part of the material (16) to be calcined by the avoidance of the upper stove of the firing region to the lower stove and/or to the cooling region, calcining the led material part by the heat of the material coming out from the firing region and leading the material part to a preheating region before leading to the firing region. The material to be calcined arrives in the firing region and then in the cooling region. The led material part by the avoidance of the firing region to the cooling region has a small grain size than the led material part to the preheating region, is surrendered in the several stoves of the cooling region and acts around fresh product. The total material to be calcined is 5-15%. The led material part is fed into a region, in which the material already existing there has a temperature of 600[deg] C. The material part of any stove of the preheating-, firing- or cooling region is discharged from the furnace. The process acts itself with the material to be calcined around magnesite, dolomite or lime and/or fresh products. An independent claim is included for a device for calcining solids or sludges in a multiple-level furnace.</p> |
