<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system and an image forming method for establishing the compatibility between confidentiality and supervision of illegitimacy. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system includes an image reader 17 for reading an image; an output 20 for outputting the image read by the image reader 17; an image log generator 32 for generating an image log of the image read by the image reader 17; and a log management 41 for storing the image log generated by the image log generator 32.
