Communication of orders within a home-automation network and between home-automation networks

The method involves constructing a communication frame (100) from a written instruction in a programming language, where the instruction contains words that are in the form of chains of alphanumeric characters and/or signs, defined by separators i.e. spaces. The alphanumeric characters and/or signs are separately converted into binary values i.e. American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII)codes. The converted binary values are concatenated to form a functional segment of the frame. An independent claim is also included for a home automation installation comprising a translation device and a home automation device.
