<p>Production (m1) of a textile flat structure with insect-repellent properties involves applying to textile flat structure, a solution comprising an insect repellent and a binder which is a combination of silicone elastomer and silicone crosslinker. Provided that insect repellent is not microencapsulated and the solution is free from acrylate binders. Production (m1) of a textile flat structure with insect-repellent properties involves applying a solution comprising an insect repellent and a binder, to a textile flat structure, where the binder comprises: a silicone elastomer of formula HO(R') 2SiO-((R') 2SiO) x-(R'R 1SiO) y-Si(R') 2OH (I) and a silicone crosslinker of formula HO(R') 2SiO-((R') 2SiO) n-(R'R 3SiO) m-Si(R') 2OH (II). Provided that the insect repellent is not microencapsulated, and the solution is free from acrylate binders. R : CH 3; R 1saturated, linear or branched or alicyclic 1-20C aminoalkyl, which contains one to two primary and/or secondary amino groups; x, y, n and m : 1-100; R 3H.
