<p>PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a display apparatus are provided to display an image by forming a light emitting module as a backlight module. CONSTITUTION: A display apparatus comprises a backlight unit which provides a display panel with backlight, and a display panel which displays an image. The backlight unit includes plural light guide plates(201,204), and plural substrate are arranged on the two planes of the light guide plate.
