PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation fan device and a method for manufacturing the same capable of securing high reliability without causing mechanical play or looseness between a locking claw of a frame and the engagement part of a housing. SOLUTION: A roughly round shape suction port 14a is formed at a roughly center of a bottom wall 14b of the frame 14. An annular retention part 14f supported by two connecting part 14e is arranged at a roughly center part of the suction port 14a.
