A fuel injection control device for an internal combustion engine comprises a common-rail (3) for accumulating pressurized fuel to improve a restartability of the engine, wherein when it is required that the pressure within the common-rail (3) during the engine stopping is not reduced to zero, if the pressure within the common-rail is higher than a target value, the pressure within the common-rail (3) is reduced by a predetermined amount.
