The present invention relates to a collapsible fastener (1) for fastening of a lamp unit (2) to a vehicle body (3). The collapsible fastener has a first attachment portion (5) adapted to be fastened to the lamp unit (2) and a second attachment portion (7) adapted to be fastened to the vehicle body. The collapsible fastener is breakable when subjected to a load in at least two preferred breaking modes, a first and a second, each of the at least two preferred breaking modes being defined by a controlled breaking direction and a load threshold level for breakage to occur in the breaking direction, such that the size and direction of the load determines which breaking mode will occur. The present invention further relates to a kit comprising a collapsible fastener and an attachment element (9, 11), as well as to a vehicle front body structure comprising a lamp unit (2), a fender (19) and a collapsible fastener (1), wherein the vehicle lamp unit (2) is attached to the fender (19) by means of the collapsible fastener (1). |
