An apparatus 1 for the collection of segregated waste materials made up of an plurality of compartments 9, each having a Waste Receiving Window 6, one or more such windows may have a trapdoor 7. the apparatus 1 has a Lifting Arm 15, which lifts bins 17 vertically lup and down, pivots then through a certain range, and moves them horizontally from left to right in so doing bringing bin compartments 18 and 19 into registry with apparatus compartments 9 and 10 thus collecting segregated waste in a segregated manner. The apparatus has a tilting mechanism 16 to tilt bins 17 for empting. Any compartment of the present invention may have a bin lid lock releasing mechanism such as 12, to release a bin lid llock such as 20, allowing waste to fall from a bin compartment such as 19 into a compartment such as 10. |
