PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for automatically distributing promotion items are provided to utilize personnel information for an additional marketing by gathering personnel information for a return for the promotion items. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(32) displays a guide message for use of a promotion item or an error message. An input unit inputs a necessary content or selects a desired promotion item by the displayed message. A memory(35) stores reference information for determining the recognized access code is available for receiving the selected promotion item or not. A controller(31) compares the reference information with the access code. The controller determines the provision of the promotion item which the user selected.
