PURPOSE: A coupling device for piles of different sizes is provided to sufficiently utilize the internal force of piles by connecting a lower pile of large diameter and an upper pile of small diameter in foundation construction. CONSTITUTION: A coupling device for piles of different sizes comprises an upper pile(40), a coupler(60), a lower pile(50), and an annular ring(70). The upper pile is formed with a coupling plate on the bottom and a welding surface(62a) on the side thereof and has a smaller diameter than the lower pile. The coupler is welded to the welding surface of the upper pile and has a plurality of reinforcing plates(64) between an upper disc and a lower disc. The lower pile is coupled through the coupler and has a larger diameter than the upper pile. The annular ring is fixed to the side of the upper and lower discs. |
