<p>A signage assembly 10 comprises a support 11 and a sign 12 with a resilient mounting 13 between them. The mounting allows the sign to return to its original position after it has been displaced and may comprise a body of elastomeric material. A passage is provided through the mounting body for a power transmission cable, allowing for a sign containing a lighting unit. The mounting may provide the sole structural inter-connection between the sign and the support or it may be provided in combination with a non-resilient link. The cross-section of the mounting body is smallest at its mid-point 17 and has a rectangular shape, with the longer edge extending perpendicular to the direction in which the mounting extends between the support and the sign. Also claimed is a resilient mounting comprising a body of elastomeric material and used for securing a sign to a support.</p> |
