A car that can be flown in the air includes a just engine fitted at the rear of the car with the air intake face of the engine facing backwards while the middle top of the exhaust face of the engine is hinged to the middle rear of the roof of the car. To fly the car the whole jet engine is rotated upwards at the hinge by hydraulic means or otherwise such that when fully rotated the jet engine is now on the car roof with the air intake face of the engine now facing forwards. By rotating the jet engine vertically the car can be flown upwards and forwards and by rotating the jet engine horizontally when it is on the roof the car can be steered, made to reduce speed or even flown backwards. |
