FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: gear consists of pinion rigidly coupled with shaft. The shaft is installed in a holder by means of a cleaved detachable element. The cleaved detachable element is mounted stationary by means of shrink fit between the pinion and the shaft and is designed for disconnection of the pinion from the shaft in case of maximal moment occurring between the pinion and the shaft. A reserve guiding standard element is installed to retain the pinion rotating in the holder in case of disconnection of the pinion from the shaft. The pinion gear box in the gas-turbine engine containing such gear actuates auxiliary mechanisms in case of failure of the pinion gear box shaft. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability of device. ^ 7 cl, 3 dwg
