A method for ascertaining the malignant nature of the adrenal incidentalome consists in measuring the size of tumor (more than ) and its tomographic features, namely irregular shape, non-homogeneity, density exceeding +51 HU, the ability of accumulating the contrasting substance. The additional features such as invasion, lymphadenopathy, regional and/or remote metastases are also taken into account for ascertaining the malignant nature of the tumor detected. |
