FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: radiating element of a column structure is a column which emits particles of the generated radiation under the effect of exciting particles falling on the column and facilitating passage of particles falling onto, propagating inside and coming out of the column. The surface of one face of the column faces the inner side of a substrate and has direct or indirect contact with the substrate. On part of the side surface of the column there is an opaque material which reflects the stream of particles generated and propagating in the material of the column. Passage of exciting particles takes place through the surface of the other face and through part of the side surface of the column on which there is no opaque material.
