FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely orthopaedics and traumatology. Helical computed tomography of hip joints in required for diagnosis improvement in a patient with observed 2nd X-ray stage of coxarthrosis with evident pain syndrome and joint dysfunction. A joint space of both hip joints is examined at three levels middle of which passes through a whirlbone cavity. If observing limited narrow spots in the joint space localised in posterior and anterior portions in the form of mirror limited areas of the articular surfaces of a cotyloid cavity and whirlbone, roughness of the articular surfaces of the cotyloid cavity and whirlbone, marginal osteophytes of anterior and posterior borders of the cotyloid cavity, the 3rd X-ray stage of coxarthrosis being an indication to hip replacement is stated. ^ EFFECT: method provides immediate complete and reliable anatomic-morphological hip joint disturbance data accessing, detection of local joint compression areas and precise localisation, development of correct therapeutic approach, faster patient recovery. ^ 1 ex, 3 dwg |
