PURPOSE: A mobile storage control device and a method thereof are provided to improve system performance by allowing a host processor to rapidly control a low speed storage medium when performing a mobile function. CONSTITUTION: A storage processor(101) controls not only a function requested by a host processor but also storage operation. A first storage unit(102) includes a volatile memory unit, the host processor, and a DP(Dual Port) memory unit. The non-volatile memory unit stores temporally stores a mobile OS(Operating System) which is supposed to be used in the host processor. The DP memory unit transmits and receives the command or data for the communication between storages. A second storage unit stores the program and data which are used by the storage processor or the host processor.
