PURPOSE: A diffusion-type gas sensor using infrared rays is provided to be used in the most dangerous zone since the anti-explosion performance of a gas sensor using a non-dispersive infrared technique is enhanced. CONSTITUTION: A diffusion-type gas sensor using infrared rays comprises a thermal infrared irradiator. The thermal infrared irradiator is electrically modularized and is used as an IR supply source(18). The thermal infrared irradiator a black-body radiation property, low power consumption and high transmissivity. The gas sensor has an inner connecting structure, which satisfies pressure-resistant, anti-explosion structure. Surface-polished sapphire is mounted to enhance the lighting efficiency of a sealed IR supply source. |
