PURPOSE: A gear wheel with a profile is provided to minimize vibrations and noises by implementing semi-encapsulation when the head of one gear of one gear wheel is in contact with the bottom of another gear of another gear wheel. CONSTITUTION: A gear wheel includes a plurality of gears(11). One gear of one gear wheel is engaged with another gear of another gear wheel through semi-encapsulation. The profile of the gears is a simple and continuous geographical curve. The profile is defined by a spline function which passes through a plurality of nodal points with pre-set coordinates.
