PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for tracing the position of multiple sound source are provided to presume the location of a sound source by using three related coefficients about one target sound source. CONSTITUTION: A signal of a plurality sound sources is inputted into a microphone array(10). The sound source separation unit(20) separates a signal inputted into the microphone array into an independent sound source signal. A target sound source selecting unit(30) selects a target sound source by analyzing patterns of the separated sound source signal. A correlation coefficient estimating unit(40) presumes the correlation coefficient between the separated sound source signal and sound source signal inputted into the microphone array. The correlation coefficient estimating unit generates a correlation coefficient matrix using the presumed correlation coefficient. A sound source location estimating unit(50) presumes the location of the selected target sound source using the presumed correlation coefficient. |
