PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus and a display method for enlarging a target area thereof are provided to conveniently move a target region by using a navigation button and enlarging/displaying a menu as a target region in order to improve the user convenience. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(120) displays a menu list of an image forming apparatus, and a user input unit(110) includes a touch screen displayed on the display unit. A target zooming function sets the menu of the menu list as a target area. If the target zooming function is selected through the user input unit, a control unit(160) enlarges and displays a menu corresponding to the target region. The control unit moves/displays the enlarged target region according to the selection of the user.
