PURPOSE: A customized TV advertising device and a method thereof are provided to display a customized advertisement on a TV through the analysis of collected images by installing a camera in a set top box and collecting viewer or viewing conditions in images through the installed camera. CONSTITUTION: An image collection module(2A) inputs the expressions of a viewer in an image through a camera, and a viewer analysis module(2B) extracts a face from the images of the viewer. The viewer analysis module discriminates an age group and a gender from the extracted face. The viewer analysis module selects the advertisements proper to each property, and an advertisement control module(2C) outputs a pre-stored advertisement on a TV screen by using the analysis result and an advertisement time table. |
