PURPOSE: A water sampler is provided to enable a worker to measure the quality of sampled water outside the manhole. CONSTITUTION: A water sampler comprises an external pipe(10), a pressure spring(20) and an internal pipe(30). The external pipe comprises a guide groove(11). A raised part is formed on the inner lower end of the external pipe. The pressure spring is coupled to the inside the external pipe. The upper end of the pressure spring is located under the guide groove in the external pipe. The lower end of the pressure spring hangs on the raised part of the inner lower end of the external pipe. The internal pipe is inserted into the inside the external pipe. A latch(31), which moves along the guide groove, is formed on the upper part of the internal pipe.
