PURPOSE: An ultrasonic flowmeter is provided to accurately measure the flow velocity and flow rate of fluid and to diagnose the state of a measuring pipe by the improvement of a structure. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic flowmeter(100) comprises a measuring pipe(40), a first ultrasonic oscillator(50), a second ultrasonic oscillator(60), a blocking valve(70), a sensor, and a control unit. The measuring pipe forms an ultrasonic-waves transfer path between the first and second ultrasonic oscillators. The measuring pie comprises a first pipe(10), a second pipe(20) and a third pipe(30), which are hollow to enable fluid to be able to flow in the pipes. The first ultrasonic oscillator emits ultrasonic waves so that the ultrasonic waves are delivered from one end to the other end of the first pipe. The second ultrasonic oscillator emits ultrasonic waves so that the ultrasonic waves are delivered from the other end to one end of the third pipe.
