PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for dispersing load in a multi-agent system are provided to improve the performance of a system by moving an agent based on the operating state of the agent. CONSTITUTION: Agents processes a requested work of a user according to an operating state by being generated in a host. An agent platform registers the agent generated and operated in nodes to manage the operating state. A monitor agent calculates a weight value according to the operating state of the agent confirmed by the agene platform to allocate the resource to the agent depending on the weight value. The monitor agent calculates the weight value based on the number of active agents.
