PURPOSE: A pest-preventing composition through ester compound combination is provided to ensure excellent prevention effect against pest. CONSTITUTION: A pest-preventing composition contains a complex of an ester compound of chemical formula I and an ester compound of chemical formula II as an active ingredient. A method for preventing pest comprises a step of spraying effective amount of the complex of the ester compound of chemical formula I and II to a pest or pest habitat. Each ester compound has isomer of two asymmetric carbon atom materials.
