PURPOSE: A battery system is provided to enable the simplification of wiring and miniaturization and to relieve the limits of an installation space of a battery module caused by the installation of a plurality of circuit boards. CONSTITUTION: A battery system(500) comprises a plurality of battery modules(100) each including a plurality of battery cells, wherein at least one of the plurality of battery modules further includes a main circuit board(21), another battery module further includes an auxiliary circuit board(21a). The main circuit board includes a first cell characteristic detecting circuit(1) arranged to detect characteristics of each battery cell and a control-related circuit having a function related to control of the plurality of battery modules. The auxiliary circuit board includes a second cell characteristic detecting circuit(2) arranged to detect characteristics of each battery cell, and does not include the control-related circuit having the function related to control of the plurality of battery modules. |
