<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable duct apparatus interlocking a variable louver arranged in an opening of a front grille and a lower louver arranged in an opening of a bumper, disconnecting the interlock of the variable louver and the lower louver when an external force is applied to the lower louver, and thereby preventing the damage of the lower louver. <P>SOLUTION: The variable duct apparatus 20 controlling the external air flowing into a radiator 5 includes the variable louver 23 arranged so as to extend in the vehicle width direction between the grille opening 19 and the radiator 5 of a vehicle 1 and to adjust the introduction amount of the external air to the radiator 5, the lower louver 25 arranged so as to extend in the vehicle width direction between an air inlet port 15 and the radiator 5 and to adjust the introduction amount of the external air to the radiator 5, and a link mechanism 30 correspondingly interlocking the variable louver 23 and the lower louver 25 and allowing the lower louver 25 to rock when the external force is applied to the lower louver 25 and the interlock of the variable louver 23 and the lower louver 25 is disconnected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
